What does the "Video Format Mismatch" alarm mean?

Question:

What does the "Video Format Mismatch" alarm mean?

Answer:

The "Video Format Mismatch" error is triggered by two causes described in the technical reference, either:

The detected video format does not match the configured video format.

- OR -

The detected video format does not match the specified format from the SMPTE 352M packet.

Possible causes of this error might include a video signal that is so badly damaged that the WVR cannot properly auto-detect the format or the video signal has incorrectly formed SMPTE 352M packet headers.
