Question :
Why are my high resistance readings too low?
Answer :
Shunt resistance, low voltmeter input impedance, offset currents. To avoid these problems, use fixtures and cables with higher insulation resistance; use guarding; use the force V, measure I method; or suppress the offset current with the test voltage off.
