Why do I not get output on my external VGA monitor when using the DVI to VGA accessory connected to the Primary DVI-D port on the TLA7012?

Why do I not get output on my external VGA monitor when using the DVI to VGA accessory connected to the Primary DVI-D port on the TLA7012?

The Primary DVI -D port requires a true DVI monitor. Only the SecondaryDVI -I output is compatible with VGA when using the DVIto VGA accessory that is included with the TLA7012.
